Since 1996, GLS Associates, Inc. has provided and is still providing Automated Information System and Local Area network support to the Air Force Cost Analysis Agency (AFCAA). GLS has been responsible for all aspects of the AFCAA AIS/LAN. GLS supports a NT 4.0 network in support of 100 users and their specialized cost analysis applications. GLS provides both network management and help desk functions. Over the life of this effort, GLS has overseen the upgrade of servers and workstations, upgrade of the network backbone, implementation of a document imaging system, and the implementation and operation of a VTC system. GLS is also responsible for all aspects of computer and network security to include managing the DITSCAP certification and accreditation process for the agency. In addition, GLS also performs webmaster duties and site design and development for the Secretary of the Air Force, Financial Management and Comptroller (SAF/FM) (http://www.saffm.hq.af.mil) web site.
