Below you will find a summary of benefits that GLS offers its employees.
- Health & Dental Insurance: GLS provides health and dental insurance coverage for full-time employees. GLS pays 75% of the premium cost for employees and 50% for dependents. Benefit coverage for health and dental insurance begins on the first day of the month following your date of hire.
- Section-125 Plan: All premiums paid for Health & Dental Insurance are withheld pre-tax. All employees are eligible for this benefit on the same schedule as your Health & Dental.
- Life Insurance and Short & Long Term Disability Insurance: GLS provides life and short & long term disability insurance for full-time employees. Benefit coverage begins on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment. GLS pays for 100% of the cost for employees.
- 401(k): GLS employees are eligible for participation in the 401(k) retirement program on the first day of the month following their start date.
- Vacation & Sick Leave: GLS full-time employees will accrue 2 weeks vacation leave per year for the first three years of employment. Beginning the 4 th year of employment, an employee will earn 3 weeks vacation leave and beginning the 6 th year, an employee will earn 4 weeks vacation leave. Sick leave accrues at the rate of 4 hours per month (6 days per year).
- Holidays: All permanent, full-time GLS employees are entitled to ten (10) paid holidays per year.
- Referral Bonus: GLS offers a $500 bonus to employees that refer a perspective new hire to Human Resources and that person is in turn hired as a GLS employee. This benefit is paid out at over a 180 day period.
- Tuition Assistance: GLS offers a Tuition Assistance program. Employees are eligible for this assistance after 1 year of continuous employment. Please see Human Resources for application instructions and more details regarding this benefit.
